Jackson Chandler Trent

Trent, Jackson Chandler –age 17 of Knoxville, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 22, 2013. Chandler began high school at South Doyle and graduated in May 2013 from Heritage High School. He will be remembered for his love of music, his sense of humor, generosity and love for his family, especially his sisters. Chandler was a member of Island Home Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Georgia Ellen Johnson and Rose Thurman. Survivors include parents, Greg and Brandi Trent; sisters, Alyssa and Sara Trent; grandparents, Ronald and Brenda Thurman, Sandra Thompson, Arthur and Godiva Trent; aunt and uncle, Kristi and Kenny Cook; cousins, Patrick and Reece Cook; special friends, Kevin and Lorie Bean and their children, Carmen, Cameron and Carlee Bean; and a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Island Home Baptist Church, 2323 Island Home Avenue, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920 with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7:00 PM, Pastor Jason Littlejohn and Pastor Arthur Trent officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday, June 28, 2013 at Woodlawn Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment service.
