Ira "Richard" Hickman Jr.

Ira Richard Hickman, Jr., 64, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Richard was a beloved husband, brother, cousin and friend to many. He was born and raised in Knoxville where he graduated from Young High School, then went on to work in Oak Ridge facilities. He enjoyed electronics, comics and Star Trek. Richard also had a big love for animals, especially his beloved pugs.

He is preceded in death by his parents Betty J. Hickman and Ira R. Hickman (Bud); sister, Rebecca J. Norris; and brother, John W. Hickman.

He is survived by his beloved wife Judy; his four-legged companion, Angel, his pride and joy; his great niece, Remy; great nephew, Bo Howard; brother, Ronnie Hickman (Penny); beloved sister in law, Debbie Hickman; brother in law, Scott Norris; brothers in law, Gary Howard and Stevie Howard (Betty); aunts, Wanda Williams and Cricket Dunn; nieces and nephews, John Raymond (Tiona), Matthew Hickman (Megan), Chris Hickman (Jenn), Jessica Parks (Jimmy) and many great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Berry Funeral Home from 5:00 - 7:00 PM with a service to follow at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will gather for a graveside service on Sunday September 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Pollard Cemetery in Kodak.
