Helen Jean Weaver Nash, age 95, of South Knoxville, passed into the glory of her Savior Jesus Christ, with her three sons present on Sunday evening, November 28, 2021. She was born on January 14, 1926 in Knoxville, TN. She graduated from Knoxville High School. She retired from her career at T.V.A. at age 62. She was married to her husband, Bill Nash, for 73 years. They were faithful members at South Knoxville Baptist Church for decades and then transferred their membership to Sevier Heights Baptist Church, where they remained members until their death.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Nash; mother Imogene Mae Weaver and stepfather, Paul Jonathan Weaver. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Danny (Candy), Randy (Anne), and Billy (Debbie); seven wonderful grandchildren, Keeley, Kassie, Kerri, Nathan, Zachary, Joshua and Caroline; two very special nieces, Jennifer & Melissa; 16 great grandchildren, grand-nieces and nephews, her Aunt Pat and cousin Linda, all of whom she loved dearly.
There will be a private family Memorial Service to celebrate her long, full life at 8:30 a.m. at the East Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery, E. John Sevier Hwy., on Thursday, December 2, 2021. Pastor Randy Nash will be officiating. The family wants to give their sincere thanks to the staff at Trinity Hills Assisted Living for their amazing care of Helen from late March until her death.
