Hazel Marion Cason

Cason, Hazel Gulsby 93 of Knoxville, TN went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Seymour. Hazel was a member of Liberty Sunday School Class and former member of the Seymour Chapter of the Gideon Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cason Jr.; daughter, Judy Swaggerty; grandson, Casey Cason; 3 sisters and one brother all from Georgia. Hazel is survived by her son, Charlie (Cheryl) Cason; son by love, Rev. Gary Swaggerty; grandchildren, Michaell (Tim) Jeffers, Laurie (Tyler) Trotter, Cory Cason; great grandchildren, Alexandria, Ethan, Abby, Faith, Ava; additional friends and family, Raymond (Carolyn) Hobbs, Sabina Cason, Faye Denny, Charlene Goddard, and all members of the Liberty Sunday School Class. A special thanks to Williamsburg Villas. Family will receive friends Thursday, June 15th from 5-7pm at Berry Highland South on Simpson Road with funeral service immediately following at 7pm. Rev. Bruce Yates and Rev. Gary Swaggerty officiating. Burial will take place Friday, June 16th at 11am at Berry Highland South, meeting at the graveside.
