Harold Scott Burnett

Harold Scott Burnett, 67, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, with his loving wife by his side. Scott was a 1975 Doyle High School graduate, where he played football and sang in the chorus. He served his country proudly in the United States Army, he retired from the state of Tennessee after 28 years of service. Scott had a BIG personality and loved to tell stories, he thought he was “The Batman”.

Scott was preceded in passing by his parents, Benjamin and Glenda Burnett; brother, Kelly Burnett.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving Kathy Burnett; children, Patrick Burnett, Joshua Burnett; brother, Todd Burnett; grandson, Caden Burnett; sister-in-law, Patsy Burnett, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Family and friends will gather at New Hopewell Baptist Church, 943 Kimberlin Heights Rd., Knoxville, TN 37920, for a receiving of friends on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 12:00PM to 2:00PM.
