Frances Louise Wade, age 88, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning and loved her flowers. Frances Louise loved spending time with her family and friends at Dollywood riding roller coasters, where she lost many hats. She retired from Levi Straus and went on to work for Wendy's in Kodak, TN where she loved dressing up as Miss. Wendy up until the age of 79.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Bertha Dockings; daughter, Brenda Pratt Nelson and several siblings.
Survived by Vernon (Deborah) Wade; Marvin (Gail) Wade; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; several nieces; nephews and special friend, Helen Young.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful care provided by staff at Ridgeview Terrace.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 4, 2022 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm in the chapel of McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy with a service to follow officiated by Rev. Mike Hurst. Family and friends will meet Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Eastview Memorial Gardens for an 11:00am Interment Service.
