Eugene L. Perry, Sr. (papaw), age 89 of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 14, 2024. He was a member of Norwood Baptist Church and loved the Lord. He was a loving father and a devoted husband. Eugene was a retired truck driver and had a passion for old cars and trains.
Preceded in death by parents, Earl Morgan and Rosa Lee Perry; brother, Howard Perry; daughter, Connie Ann Perry; and daughter-in-law, Penny Perry.
Eugene is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ola Marie Perry; sons, Eugene L. Perry, Jr. and Timothy Dewayne Perry; daughters, Sandy (Jerry) Kirkpatrick, Brenda (Bill) Bean, Karen (Joe, Sr.) Stevens, Tracey (Carl) Ake, Beverly (Tim) Keener; fourteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; brother, Charlie Perry.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Wednesday, December 18, 2024 with the funeral to follow at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive with Rev. Don Walton officiating.
