Elizabeth Louise Thomas Fisher, age 85, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Born to the late George and Amy Thomas, Betty was a graduate of Knoxville’s Fulton High School. She spent her adult life in Connecticut, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin before returning to Knoxville in 2001. She loved the Women of Grace ministry at Sevier Heights Church, volunteering with Woodmen International, gospel music concerts, and encouraging others through cards and letters.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by husbands Vern Stevens (Wisconsin) and Chuck Fisher (Knoxville) and her brother-in-law Erle Hudson (Texas). She is survived by her sister Patsy Thomas Hudson (Texas), brother George (Melany) Thomas (Florida), seven nieces and nephews, and a host of grand nieces and nephews. She considered many of her friends to be family.
The family, especially niece Amy (Hudson) Williams, would like to thank the staff at NHC Fort Sanders and Caris Hospice for their excellent and loving care. A special heartfelt thanks to Anthony, Heather, Jada (JJ), and Kimberly.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 11am at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery, Greg Williams from Sevier Heights Church officiating.
