JENKINS, EDNA N. –age 88 of Knoxville passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2014 . Edna was a faithful member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. She retired after 30 years of service with National Linen. Preceded in death by her husband, Mack Jenkins; sister, Wilma Phillips and other brothers and sisters. Survived by her son, Roger D. Phillips and wife Grace; brothers Ernest Phillips of Robbinsville, NC. Bud Phillips of Eugene, OR., and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Valley Grove Baptist Church Building Fund on Ball Camp Pike, or Corryton Baptist Church Wa-Floy Retreat Camp, 7615 Foster Rd., Corryton, TN. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-6 with service to follow at 6 pm. Reverends Tony Maples and Austin Moore officiating.
