David Richard Howard IV

David Richard Howard IV, age 28, of Corryton, TN passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He was the most incredible son. He was the first grandson and all of his cousins looked up to him and considered him to be their hero. His daughter was his world and he lived for her. David was a hard-worker and worked hard for everything he had. He will be remembered as being a protector, encourager and provider for all of those who needed him. David lived big, loved big and is leaving a legacy that is larger than life.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Lois and Ed Woods and grandmother, Sylvia Lane.

David is survived by his daughter, Hayden; father, David Richard "Rick" Howard III; mother and step-father, Lissie and Bruce Welch; sister, Amber Howard, brothers, Aaron and Jonathon Howard; papaw, Roland Lane; aunts; uncles; nieces, nephews and many cousins.

David would want everyone to hold their heads up, be strong, never forget how much he loved each of you and looks forward to seeing you again soon.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 6, 2021 between the hours of 5:00pm until 7:00pm in the chapel of McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7:00pm officiated by Rev. Eddie Smart. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 12:00pm at McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home and go in procession to Roseberry Cemetery, 2920 Roseberry Road, Mascot for a 1:00pm Interment Service.
