Clara Ellen (Hall) Marcum

Clara Ellen Hall Marcum born August 26, 1926, passed away September 29, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jesse (J.F.) Marcum; parents, Hazel and Roy Hall; sister, Bettye E. Herron; brother-in-law, Frank L, Herron; niece, Sandra Herron Knap. Survived by niece, Vicki Herron Callahan (Montee); great-niece, Kim Knap Lance (Dylan); great-nephews, Greg Knap (Maria Ciavarro), Ray Fleming, all of Atlanta; nieces and nephews by marriage, Cheryl Marcum Estes, Gina Marcum Harmon, Sue Marcum Beeler, Wayne, Jerry, Ronnie, and Jackie Marcum. Clara work for many years as an administrative assistant and retired from The Knoxville State Area Technical School. She was a member of West Lonsdale Baptist Church. Many thanks to the staff at Clover Hill Assisted Living in Maryville for their excellent care the last years of her life. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 pm Saturday at Marietta Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery for a 2 pm graveside service. Rev. Mark Knap officiating.
