Chris Harris White

Chris Harris White, 59 years of age, died in Knoxville on Thursday, April 5, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cynthia Rutherford White; his children Lindsey Marie Clark (Matt), and Heather Marie Fox (Shane); grandchildren, Cole Wayne Fox, Emersyn Kate Clark, William Neyland Clark, and Stella Marie Fox; mother, Josephine Boling White, and brother, Joel John White. He is preceded in death by his father John N. White.

Chris loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing of which fishing became a lifelong passion.

He also gravitated towards sports, especially golf which he enjoyed playing with his brother.

He liked football and basketball and was very devoted and dedicated in supporting and attending his daughters’ basketball games.

Chris was a very involved, devoted, loving and caring husband, father and grandfather and was a friend to all he met. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday April 10, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 PM with Pastor Mike Baker officiating.
