Charles Ronald Hill

Charles (Ronald) Hill, age 83, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 9, 2017 and is now singing in the Heavenly Choir. He was a member of South Pointe Baptist Church and retired from Knoxville Utilities Board with 42 years of service. Ron was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved serving the Lord. His passion was singing and witnessing for the Lord. He was preceded in death by his son, Derrick Hill; mother, Margaret Hill Swaggerty; and grandson Brandon Bradley. Ron is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Doris Rudder Hill; son and daughter-in-law Danny and Sue Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Terri Hill-Terry and William Terry; son and daughter-in-law Tim and Deanna Hill; grandchildren: Michael Hill, Lauren and Taylor Grills, Kendall and Adam Bumpus, Brooke and Brent Woody, Carsen Hill, and Stephanie Bradley; great-grandchildren: Tanner Hill, Cayden Bradley, Blake Woody, and Brandon Woody. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet at Asbury Cemetery on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 11:00 am for a graveside service, with his son Rev. Danny Hill officiting.
