Carol Ann Scott, age 77, of Powell, a truly dedicated wife, mother and grandmother passed away with medical PSP on Saturday, June 4, gently slipping into the arms of her Heavenly Father. She was born July 16, 1944 in Chester, Pa.
Carol Ann was a 42 year member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church, where she was very active as a door greeter with her husband, John. She was retired from The Credit Bureau of Knoxville where she worked some 32 years. Carol is survived by her husband, John; sister, Marilyn Prentice; brothers, Fred, Robert and Richard Bettin; children, Michelle Carr (John) Whited, Whitney (Jeremy) Biggs, and Michael (Lori) Scott; grandchildren, Taylor and Timothy Cole Kollenberg, Jackson and Marlee Biggs. Carol is predeceased by her sister, Susan.
Carol enjoyed spending time at Norris Lake, swimming, boating, square dancing, spending time with children and grandchildren and many various church activities. The family wants to sincerely thank all of the wonderful caregivers of Powell Morning Point and those at Amedysis Hospice.
A graveside service will be held at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 3pm.
