Blanche (Memaw) was born in Jefferson County, November 12,1926. She is preceded in death by her husband, H.O. (Bud) Kenley; daughter, Rebecca Strevel ; parents, Claude and Lelia Rimmer. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth "Joyce" Kenley, Carolyn Kenley Schoolcraft (John), Cindy Kenley Gatian, Randy Kenley (Kim), Bryan Kenley (Tonya); grandchildren, Kim White Sandlin, Matthew, Ethan and Nicholas Boone, Cameron, Connor and Carly Gatian, Hailey and Andy Kenley, Kristofer (Heidi) Kenley, and several great and great great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Rimmer and Raymond (Linda) Rimmer, several nieces and nephews, and brother in law, Jack Kenley.
Blanche was a lover of flowers and was co-owner of Fran's Flowers in South Knoxville for years, she worked at Stanley's Greenhouse and was very active in the Jefferson County Ag Extension program.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Morning Pointe, Hardin Valley and to Caris Hospice for their excellent care of our Mom.
A funeral service will be held for Blanche on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 1pm with a private graveside to follow.
