Beverly Gayle Cross, born December 17, 1948, went to Heaven on September 11, 2021. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Darren; parents, Billie Jean Sherrill and Johnny Chitwood; sister, Judy; brothers, Larry, Danny and Jimmy. Survived by her loving husband of 52years, Darrell; daughters, Stacey (Frank) DeAngilo, Gina (John). Kristi Cross and dog, Summer and Bethany Ray; grandchildren, Alex (Kei), Nicky (Kaitlyn), Kyler (Cheyenne), Gracey, Mason, Valerie, Jonah, Brodie and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Brycn, Aelin and Owen; special sister and friend, Sherry (Ronnie) Hurst; sisters-in-law, Sharon, Janice, Mary Jane and Rebecca; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Cross and David Hickman; several special nieces and nephews; special aunts, Bonnie and Kim; many dear friends. A special thanks to UT Hospice for their loving care (Kaleb, thank you). The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Wednesday at Weaver Funeral Home. The burial will be private.
