Barbara Allen Roy Smith, age 82, of Knoxville passed away on December 4, 2016. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She brought joy and love to everyone who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mabel "Kikkie" and Frank "Truck" Roy; siblings, Joyce Roy, Bea Carter, and Dennis Roy; and son, Charles "Chuck" Smith. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth Smith; sons, Allen and Rick Smith; cherished granddaughter, Allison Smith; special friend, Dorene Gryder; and beloved nephews and niece. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home (3704 Chapman Hwy. Knoxville, TN 37920).
