Barbara "Bobbie" Smith

Barbara "Bobbie" Smith, age 92, of the Mount Olive Community in Knoxville, Tennessee went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 11, 2023. Bobbie was a lifelong member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, a seamstress, a homemaker and retired from KUB with 18 years of service.

She is preceded in death by husband of 53 years, H. Leslie Smith; parents, James Samuel Henry and Mary Myrtle Rudder Henry; sisters, Mary Lou Henry and Peggy Ann Henry.

Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Rick Webb; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Debbie Smith; grandchildren, Christopher Webb, Rachele ( Larry) Chapman, and Gabe Smith; great-grandchildren, Oaklee and Londyn Chapman; sisters, Martha Harper, Susie (Wayne) Shelton and Sammie Cupp; several nieces and nephew as well as friends and other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm, Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 2500 Maryville Pike with services to follow at 2 pm in the sanctuary. Rev. Cesar Correa officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Olive Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Smith, Gabe Smith, Larry Chapman, Rick Webb and Jeff Berry.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Olive Baptist Church, 2500 Maryville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920.
