Audrey Lee Bowles

Bowles, Audrey Lee passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on December 4, 2024, at the age of 98. She was born in Knoxville, TN on the 3rd of July, 1926. Audrey was always the practical jokester and quick with a comeback with her quick wit. She served many years as a Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics and appreciated her many customers.

Audrey was preceded in death by her loving husband, James William Bowles; parents, John and Mollie Diggs; brothers, Earl and Clyde Diggs; sisters, Emma McKinley, Paulene Melton and Evelyn Satterfield.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Julie Darlene Johnson (Charles); son, James William Jr.; grandchildren, Tiffany Webb (Gary) and Charles Johnson (Amanda); great grandchildren, Alex Caitlyn Webb (Toby), Grant Webb, Luke Johnson, Brock Johnson and Colt Johnson; sisters-in-law, Helen Diggs, Ersie Vasseur, and Blanch Loveday; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give special appreciation to the staff and caregivers at Dominion Senior Living Sevierville and the Hospice Nurses who showed her so much love.

A private graveside service will be observed by family and friends at Lynnhurst Cemetery a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org/tn.
