Ashley was born March 4, 1981 in Royal Oak, Michigan. Ashley had a way to connect and show anyone they were seen. She loved bringing joy to others and supporting others. Some would describe her as the bright spot in a room and the one who would be all in to support you in your ideas. Some of my favorite memories are when we would have sister slumber parties and have wine and cheese board, family movie night, and play games. I loved to see her play games with Bryn, her niece, and how they enjoyed each other’s company. Bryn remembers how fun her Auntie was and how she would play with her when she was only 3 years old. She remembers Auntie Ashley playing with the Frozen Anna and Elsa dolls on the couch. Ashley loved her niece fiercely and deeply. She would travel to watch her play competitive soccer, take photos and video like a proud auntie, not only of Bryn but of other family’s kiddos who she knew and was proud of as well. My husband remembers many favorite memories of when we would all go on family vacations together with her. She loved our family pup, Oliver too. She would always bring Oliver a can of pumpkin each Thanksgiving and spoiled him with treats and toys. She loved all animals and had a deep love for turtles and their resiliency. She loved her friends and neighbors like family. Many of you call her family. I see you all and thank you for loving her so well.
She loved to paint with her friends. She painted over 300 paintings the last time we talked. It was her peace and joy – her happy place that she loved to share with others. She gave to the arts and had commissioned several pieces to be made from her friends who were also artists. She loved concerts, all kinds of music, and to enjoy a good meal with those who warmed her soul. Ashley’s favorite bible verse was Jeremiah 29:11.
Ashley was preceded in death by father, Mark Roger Partington; grandparents, Roger and "Peggy" Partington and Everett and Maxine Franze.
She is survived by her mother, Michelle Franze; sister, Karen (Scotty) Conley; special niece, Bryn and step-dad, Thomas Brice "T-Dad".

There is a huge void in our hearts where she is gone, but I ask you to remember the joy she intentionally and earnestly gave you each time you connected. She poured herself into every interaction be it at a restaurant, her home church, Pathways Church ladies’ in fellowship together events (LIFT), serving in children’s church and guest services, supporting non-profit fundraisers, and always on "stand by" for your aid. Today, go outside and breathe in the air and breathe out your sorrow for Ashley. Feel the sun, the air on your skin. Look for joy in nature as though it is from Ashley. She would want you to remember the joy and not be remembered by the pain of her loss. Please, consider making a donation to one of the charities as this would help her joy live on. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.berryfuneralhome.com for the Partington family.
