Amy Jo (Sandman) Ketchem

Amy Ketchem passed away peacefully on January 24, 2023 after a long illness. She was 64 years old. Amy was born September 10, 1958 in Asheville, NC to Gilbert and Arlene Sandman. She was the youngest of three sibling having two older brothers, Steve Sandman of Wenatchee, WA and Marc Sandman of Pasadena, CA. She attended Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. Known for her sense of humor, there were always two things that made her the happiest; going to the beach and spending time with the love of her life, her husband Frank Ketchem who predeceased her and with whom she will now be joined for eternity. Amy had hundreds and hundreds of friends who loved her dearly as she was always the one to make them smile and laugh. Through her un-wavering and loyal friendship to her family and friends, they could always count on her to give her the shirt off her back if needed.

Amy is survived by her two brothers and multiple cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends on February 11, 2023 at 1:30 at Berry Highland South Funeral Home, 9010 E. Simpson Rd. Knoxville, TN 37920. There will be a Memorial Service at 2:30 with the Inurnment at the Garden of Cross in the Berry Highland South Cemetery to follow.
