William John Horace Parker

Bill was born November 9, 1933 and died April 13, 2015. Bill will be sadly missed by his wife Audrey (née Fiddler). He is survived by his children Cathy Wilke & her husband Tim, Mike Parker & his wife Joan and Dave Parker & his wife Kelly. Pops will always be remembered by his grandchildren Aaron, Natalie & Nathan Wilke, Billy Parker, Jake & Kate Kindl and Emily Parker.

Also remembered by his sister Gwen Holt and her husband Keith.

Predeceased by his parents Bill & Gladys Parker and his stepmother Elsie Parker.

Bill was an electrician and worked Sutherland-Schultz for 42 years. He was well respected in the electrical industry. Bill was active in the Masonic Lodge, Shrine and Chapter. He married Audrey on May 17, 1958. Bill was a faithful member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Bill was a quiet man who cared deeply for family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 317 Franklin St. N., Kitchener on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception for family and friends.

A Masonic service under the auspices of Grand River Lodge 151 will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 6:30 p.m.

Private family committal at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Shriners Children’s Hospital or St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
