Wanda Uhrig

With great sadness and the heaviest of hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Wanda Uhrig at Sunnyside Home on June 17, 2011in her 96th year. Loving wife of Charles Uhrig (1995) and dearest and most loved mother of Carole Beland, Marilyn and Ernest Fanthome, Ken and Giselle Uhrig and Therese and David St. Marie. Grandmother of Ginny and Andy Walz and Dan Fanthome. Survived by 2 sisters-in-law Marcie Schnarr and Orilla Uhrig and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by 2 brothers Joe and Stan and one sister Anne. Wanda was a life long member of St. Francis of Assisi CWL.

Relatives and friends will be received at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home & Chapel (519-742-4481), 51 Benton St., Kitchener on Sunday, June 19, 2011 for visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with prayers at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Francis of Assisi R. C. Church, 49 Blueridge Rd. Kitchener, Monday June 20 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment at Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
