Rose Elizabeth Barrett Marshall

Rose was born at Women's College Hospital in Toronto, Ontario on November 2, 1915 but spent much of her life living between England and Canada.

Settling in Kitchener with her husband Walter and son Robin she was employed for many years by Budds Department Store.

Rose was always full of fun and known to her family as an avid camper and on her more serious side a lover of books, dance, and theatre.

She is predeceased by her beloved family members, husband Walter Marshall, and son Robin Marshall, mother Mary Kate Barrett (Meads), father Samuel Barrett, sister Kathleen Barrett, brothers Richard Barrett (Gertrude) and Bruce Barrett (Mary).

She will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Jessica Marshall, Elizabeth Marshall and Brendan Marshall.

Rose also leaves behind great grandchildren, Rebecca, Diana, Malcolm, Daniel and Elijah; daughter in law, Iona Marshall (Robin Marshall) and niece Jean Ancion (Ron Ancion), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rose’s family would like to acknowledge the kind care and attention that she received in her later years by niece Jean Ancion and the staff of Westmount Long Term Care.
