My name is Steve Vickers.Bob was a best friend of mine when we attended St. Agnes school from 1959 -1965.Also until,1972 we hung out together. We delivered newspapers from the KW Record.The depot for newspaper drop was at the Montag home in Waterloo.Also as  kids over period of time we played road hockey and baseball to.I  remember Bob playing the steel guitar.He was very good at it.I just noticed this recently.Terribly sorry for loss Mary ,Larry , Tom& Family.Bob was a great to be with.

I had the pleasure of knowing Bob from 1998-2012  while he resided in the London area, 
Bob and I enjoyed many Leaf games even when they won, snacking on popcorn and a cold pop. God Bless Bob and his extended family...

I was Bob’s best friend and playmate from Grade 1 to Grade 8 when we were at St. Agnes. He lived around the corner from me on Ellis Crescent. We lost touch when I moved and I had recently been trying to find him when I saw the obituary. I was very sorry to hear of his passing. I would really like to talk to a family member who might like to hear about Bob as a childhood friend and who could tell me about what his life was like after we lost touch. Bobby was a very dear person.  I always enjoyed talking with him. My deepest sympathy goes out to Mary Jane and Tommy. Remembering all our good days on Moore Avenue with my second family along with Wilbur, Loretta and best friend Michael. 
I may miss  his celebration at St Agnes today.  But remember Bobby and family very well

Mary Jane, Larry, David, Susan, Christopher, and family members,  we are all so sorry for the loss of you brother, uncle and great-uncle.  Bob holds a special place in our heart - we think of him fondly, when he would join us at family gatherings.  He was such a kind, gentle man.  He brought smiles to our faces many times - he was such a good man.  He will be dearly missed.  You have our deepest condolences.

I attended St. Agnes School with Robert.  I remember Robert as a very kind, gentle boy always with a smile.  I am grateful that I knew him and have fond memories of our school days together.  My thoughts are with all of his family. 

Bob was such a caring and compassionate person.  He always shared a laugh or word of encouragement and he wasn't afraid to speak his mind and stand up for others when he saw something happening he felt was wrong.  The world has lost a very special person.  We will miss him deeply.
