Heidrich: Richard (Rick) C. At St. Mary’s Hospital on Wednesday, December 25th, 2013 after a valiant battle with Leukemia surrounded by his family. Richard Charles Heidrich aged 64 years.
Rick had been a Director of Sales for Kaufman Footwear, then Rick and his friend, John Samuell started a new business, co-owning XKG Sales Associates, he was a member of the the Waterloo-Wellington British Car Club and the Shoe Association of Ontario. Beloved husband of the former Andrea Nethercott, dear father to Julie and her husband Jeff Koppeser of Cambridge and Lee and his wife Linda of Kitchener, loving Grandpa to Matthew, Jacob, Jameson and Jessica, brother to Roger and his wife Yvonne and their daughter Krista of Kitchener and Greg and Sharon of London.
Predeceased by his parents William Heidrich and Elizabeth Borth. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Friday, January 3rd, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9, where the Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday January 4th, at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Donations may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre, through the funeral home.
