Richard "Dan" Gillespie

Dearly loved husband of Mary, he will be dearly missed by his children Denise Salt (Peter) and Dan Gillespie. Precious memories are left with his grandchildren Jennifer and Emily. Loving brother to Audrey Kaufman (the late Bernie), Cathy Bennett (Mervin) and step brother to Loretta Caisse (John Paul) and Frazer Johnson (Denise). The Gillespie Family will receive friends at the Westmount memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. on Thursday January 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Dan used to say, "strangers are friends we have not yet met". He made more friends along the way with a warm, infectious personality. Let us carry on this way in his honour. A Celebration of Dan’s Life will take place in the Westmount Chapel on Friday, January 11th at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau. As expressions of sympathy donations to Lisaard House are greatly appreciated.
