Linda Jean Weber

Beloved mother of Kenneth Kaitting and James Kaitting (Jennifer). Dear grandmother of Justin Pallen and Jacob-Douglas Kaitting (Caylea). Loved sister of Sandra Weber and Peggy Willigar. Predeceased by her parents Margaret Weber (Temple) and Kenneth Weber. Linda will be greatly missed by her nephew Richard Willigar, niece Susan Willigar, great nephews Ricky and Brandon and cherished long term friends Sharon Casey and Kathy Lucier.

Linda grew up in St. Jacobs and moved to Kitchener when she was about 16 years old. Linda was somewhat of a rebel child in her younger days, driving a motorcycle to New Hamburg where her father was always on the hunt for her. She had a passion for horses, roller skating and enjoyed playing pool. She spent many years working at Kaufman’s, then Dutch Girl and ran her own restaurant/bar in Wasaga beach called J&J’s Playroom named after her grandsons. Linda’s heart belonged in Wasaga Beach where she had a family cottage and lived and worked for many years. Her other loves included Toronto Maple Leafs hockey, Thunder Hockey at the Sports Park in Cambridge on Saturdays and spending time with her grand dogs, Sadie, Shula and Shelby. Linda made many trips down to Cuba as she just loved the feel of the sunshine on her face and all the cervezas she could drink.

Linda’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 7 – 9 p.m., and again on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 12:00 – 1:45 p.m., where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
