It pleased the Lord to call Linda to be with Him.
Linda was born September 4, 1950 in Woodstock, Ontario. She passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024 at Forest Heights Long Term Care in Kitchener at the age of 74.
Linda was the devoted wife of Norbert Francis McGrath who predeceased her on March 31, 1994.
Linda is survived and missed by her siblings Lavern Gooding, Alan Gooding, Carl Gooding (Colleen), and Elaine Bechthold (nee Gooding) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Christmas was Linda’s favorite holiday. She was always happy to host Christmas parties. As a member of the K-W Jaycees, Linda was actively involved in our community.
Predeceased by her maternal grandparents Sylvia and Charles Miller, paternal grandparents Sam and Lillie Hird, father Donald Hird, step father John Sherwood Gooding, brother Ronald Hird, mother LaVona Gooding (nee Miller), and nephew Jonathan Gooding.
A memorial visitation for Linda will be held Saturday, November 16 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, Ontario, followed by a family memorial service.
