Leopold Frederick Alfred Proksch

Unexpectedly at Pinehaven Nursing Home, on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Dearly loved husband of 56 years to the late Anna Proksch (March 2, 2018), and cherished father of John Proksch (Nancy) and Ella Proksch. Leo leaves cherished memories with his grandchildren: Joshua, Jeremy, Lillie, Kurtis, Dalen and Nate. Predeceased by his parents Alfred Proksch and Elizabeth Englisch, his step-father Friderick Englisch, and his brother Walter Proksch. Survived by his brothers Norbert Englisch (Ingrid), Guenther Englisch (Barbara) and Karl Englisch (Peaches), and sister-in-law Inge Proksch. Family and friends will gather at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be in the Westmount Chapel on Saturday at 1:30 a.m. with Reverend Mark Ehlebracht officiating. Interment will be at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation are greatly appreciated.
