She always said her greatest wealth was her seven children who helped her in so many ways later in life; Diane Visser (Kurt Knibutat), Adrian Visser, Marjorie Brown (Larry), Monica Visser (Jeff Mitchell), Shirley Visser- Meier (Pierre Meier), Veronica Visser – Martinuk (Mitch Martinuk), and Richard Visser (Teresa). Mom felt blessed when she saw her 14 grandchildren at family gatherings; April & Cory Knibutat, Nadine Visser, Rebecca (Charlie Ryan & great-grandson Hunter), Natalie, Ethan (Nicole) Brown, Shane (Kristine) & Blair (Vanessa Bruckschwaiger) Simpson, Nigel (Valerie Siragusa) & Paige Inglis (Aaron Mazurek), Nicholas & Christopher Meier, Justin & Dillan Visser. Left to mourn and remember her with love is her identical twin sister, Nini, in Holland. All God’s animals had a special place in Mom’s heart, especially Mee-Oh-Pee and Petie. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Richard in 2000. She was a long-time member, elder and choir member of Doon Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 20th from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Doon Presbyterian Church, 35 Roos St, Kitchener, Ontario N2P 2B9 with a Celebration of Life to follow. At her request, cremation has taken place. A private graveside ceremony will be held at a later date.
