To Joseph, Anita and all of the family, please accept my deepest yet late condolences.  Joseph truly I am happy that we spoke when I just happened to ring and I am sad I did not know sooner.  I met Helen in 2003 and  she impressed me.  We spoke about many things especially about her love for her lovely daughter and husband.  I was her customer loving her store and Helen herself.  We spoke even though I moved from Kitchener.  I am deeply saddened to hear that she has left this world.  Peace to her spirit and may she live on through you all.  Words can't express fully how I feel.  Helen you were loved and continue to be loved.  We will always remember you cherishing the amazing memories you leave behind.  Till we meet again sweet friend. Helen was a beautiful soul. We became friends about l0 years ago when I brought a client in to purchase something. Right away Helen greeted her lovingly and had "just the right thing" and if there was some alterations to be done Helen would do it often for no charge.  I noticed in the time that I knew her this wasn't just a business to her but her love and her passion and it was personal.  Helen showed that same love to me when I asked her to "dress my mom" or help my clients or friends with a clothing need.  She will be missed, she is missed ..such a great loss to our community too as there are not many stores that give that personal touch anymore.  I will be praying for your family as you say goodbye to this dear sweet lady.

Our sincerest condolences to the Szabo family, her husband and daughter Anita. We have known Helen for many many years back to when us kids all used to dance at the Hungarian club with Anita. I used to see her walking in our neighbourhood often over the years and would pop in at the store when I was downtown. While it has been a while since i have seen her she was always so kind and would light up with a beautiful smile. My parents have many more memories that they will cherish and hope that she is resting with the angels and in peace. We wish her family peace and love and beautiful memories to carry you through the hard times.

I am so sad for Helen's beloved family.  I have been visiting Kitchener/Waterloo from England for twenty years and during that time have come to know, love and respect Helen, the kindest and bravest of women.  Only in November she closed the shop, brought out a table, and sat down with me, making a cup of tea, and talking, as she always did, of an especially happy time with her daughter and husband at a horse carriage event.  She looked then as beautiful as she does in the memorial photograph and she was full of joy, an emotion that she brought to all her many friends (who may have begun as customers) who felt cherished by her.  Thank you Helen for your life, characterised by loving kindness.

Helen was such a beautiful Lady.  Always kind, loving and encouraging. Her love for family, and absolute pride in Anita was always evident.  My favourite memory, besides having tea in Her store, is when one time at the Hungarian Club we were getting ready for the anual dancer's bal. I was 13 or 14 years old and I happened to work together with Helen to set the tables. Helen taught me a new way to fold the table napkins. I remember watching Her hands with awe and thinking how elegant She was. She won the admiration of a teenager, and even though I was taller than Her I truly looked up to Her.  Rest in Peace Beautiful Lady.

I have known Helen for about 8 years. I meet her when I took my mother to her store to buy a dress for a family wedding. She was so thoughtful and caring. I would visit her in the store every few months. She would always make me a tea and we would have a great visit. We also would celebrate each other’s birthday by having lunch in her store. 
I am going to miss you and our visits. But I know that you are in heaven helping my mom pick out her outfits. When I arrive in heaven I expect you will make me another great cup of tea and we can catch up. 

I first met Helen about 5 years ago when I was shopping with my great aunt. Helen was so kind, gentle and patient, with an endless interest in people. I always enjoyed catching up with her on my visits to Canada. Rest in peace, lovely lady.

Thank you for being someone I could always look up to and depend on!  Words can hardly describe the admiration and love I have for you.  I’m so lucky to have had all the special memories we had together and to be able to call you my aunt.  I’ll never be able to express my gratitude for what you have shared with me and the traditions I will carry on in memory of your spectacular being.   I can’t wait until we can dance together in Heaven.
