NEWMAN, Gordon "Gord" Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, age 64 years. Gord was a volunteer at Dry Dock and was born in Picton, Ontario. Best friend and husband to Donna for 23 years. Father of Travis (Melanie) Crain and Jodi (Brad) Dowling all of Kitchener. Grandpa to Tanner, Riley, Carys, Mason and Ellianna. Brother of Ray (Carole) Newman of Port Colborne and Charlaine (Dave) McLean of Belleville. Uncle to William and Jeremy and a special friend of Pat Jeffrey. Gord's family will receive friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel , 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
