Dorothy passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 24th, 2012 at Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home in Lucknow at the age of 87. Predeceased by her dear husband Roy in 1987, and by her daughter Gloria Jean, she will be forever missed by her children; William MacTavish, Lois Psutka (Joseph), Garnet MacTavish (the late Eleanor) and Donald MacTavish (Cheryl). Dorothy leaves precious memories with her grandchildren; Scott, Trevor, Amber, Veronica, Donna, Chad and Sara, and great grandchildren Joshua, Hunter, Nolan, Cody, Heather, Brandon, Tamara, Hannah and Liam. Daughter of the late Wilfred and Maria Nowack (nee Weisgerber), she is predeceased by her sister Ruby and her brother Lloyd. Family and friends gathered at Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener, on Monday, November 26th from 2-4 p.m., and celebrated her life on Tuesday, November 27th in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment took place at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
