FARWELL, Dorothy Rose (Reidel) In her 96th year at Hanning House, in Cambridge, on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, with her family by her side. Dorothy was a member of Sacred Heart Church, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Carmel Guild of St. Joseph, the C.W.L. of Sacred Heart and was a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital. Predeceased by her Husband Albert (1987); Grandchildren Sean Padden (1991) Luanne Farwell (1993) and Sheri Farwell (1994); Parents Eugene Reidel (1962) and Elizabeth Beaupre (1964);Brothers Raymond, Jerome, Joe, Vincent, Edgar, Gerald and Michael; Sisters Florence (Reidel) Hinschberger, Bertilla (Reidel) Keller and Genevieve (Jenny Reidel) Modrowski. Survived by Sons Douglas of Kitchener, Bernard and his wife Nan of Kitchener, Roger and his wife Cathy of Waterloo, Jim and his wife Lynn of Kitchener; Daughters Joyce and her husband Jim Hause of Kitchener, Sandi Farwell of Kitchener; Brother Cletus Reidel and his wife Joyce of Waterloo. Beloved Grandma/Oma to Jackie (Hause) Herrgott, Jennifer Hause and Rick Clemmer, Julie (Hause) Shaddick, Jeremy Farwell, Maureen Padden and Mike Fox, Tom Farwell and Sandra Sousa, Pam (Farwell) and Mike Baillie, Mike Farwell, Sarah (Farwell) and Mike Stickney, Jessica Farwell, Rick Farwell, Kelly Farwell. Great-grandchildren: Bobby Herrgott, Danny Herrgott, Shannon Herrgott, Colton Clemmer, Cassidy Clemmer, Jacob Shaddick, Erik Fox, Ryan Fox, Bradley Farwell, Ryan Farwell, Steven Farwell, Mikaela Baillie, Chloe Baillie and Nolan Baillie. Great-great-granddaughter Joella Marie Herrgott. Also survived by in-laws Frank Modrowski, Pat Reidel, Jessie Reidel, Ruth Reidel, Etta Farwell (Paschal), Harold Voisin (Della), Robert and Lois Farwell, Anthony and Joan Farwell. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home today (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where parish prayers will be recited at 3:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church with Father George Nowak C.R. and Father Murray Farwell officiating. Interment will be in Kitchener, Mt. Hope Cemetery, and donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis or Kids Ability through the funeral home.
