Bryan completed his earthly journey on Tuesday September 22, 2015 with the love of family by his side.
Beloved partner of Geralda Thibodeau. Brother of Rose Hanley (Bernard), Hugh (Elaine), Lawrence (June), Clair, Ann McLeod (William), Michael (Maureen), Dorothy Evans (Charles), Frances Melchin (Dale), Thomas (Noreen) and Colleen Rees (George). Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Patti McMahon and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Doris and Lorne McMahon; brothers Gary, Patrick and Dennis; and sister Sharon.
Bryan worked for Twin City Painting early in his career and then Mike’s Painting until his illness in August of this year. He was a skilled and devoted tradesman known for his strong work ethic.
Much of his leisure time was spent listening to music and relaxing at his trailer. Bryan was a kind and quiet man who enjoyed helping others.
Family and friends will be received at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener, 519-745-9495 on Friday September 25, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 26, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 305 Laurentian Drive, Kitchener. Fr. Larry Parent officiating. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener followed by a reception in the parish hall.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Bryan may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or Blessed Sacrament Church Building Fund and may be arranged through the funeral home.
