It is with great sadness that the family of Sharon Luem (Dietz) Goebel announces her passing at 86 years of age. She crossed over to her heavenly home on January 20, 2024. Preceding her in death was her loving husband of 17 years, Timothy J. Goebel and her parents Charles and Erma Dietz.
Sharon was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Sharon's beautiful soul will live on in all who have loved her. Her passion at an early age was racing cars with her father. Her fire and spice is an inspiration to her family and friends. Sharon was also the owner/operator for Alterman trucking in Orlando. Her small stature was no match for her drive and ambition to care for her children. Sharon was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoying the races right up to the end. Her strength and determination to "hang in there" is unprecedented. Sharon also enjoyed bass fishing with her late husband and grandchildren, even though she was afraid of water she was fearless. Sharon enjoyed playing her organ and singing for pure enjoyment. Even though her battle was long she fought like a fierce warrior with grace and dignity. Sharon had a heart of gold and was the center of her family. She will always be loved and remembered as the queen she truly is.
Sharon is survived by her four children. Sharroll (Paul) Fanslau of Pembroke, Ga; Douglas (Rebecca) Macks of Kissimmee, Fl; Tracey (Robert) Nelson of Richmond Hill, Ga; and Andrew (Jennifer) Macks of Billings, MT.
She was dedicated to her thirteen grandchildren: Miranda (Kelly) Price of Pembroke, Ga., Anthony (Micayla) Macks of Billings, MT., Kylee Macks of Billings, MT., Rachel Macks, Riley Macks, Reith Macks, and Tyler Macks of Kissimmee, FL., Jager (Hayley) Hodges of Dade City, FL., Savanna Nelson, Ridge Nelson, and Siana Nelson of Richmond Hill, GA., Taylor (Justin) Zites of Billings, MT., Alley (Lucas) Thurston of Billings, MT., who she loved dearly.
Sharon also had eight beloved great grandchildren: Wesleigh Price and Evelyn Price of Pembroke, Ga; Brantley Hodges and Kensley Hodges of Dade City, Fl. Braxton Macks, Logan Zites, Max Zites, and Stetson Zites of Billings, MT.
Special mention that Sharon also leaves behind her favorite cousin Sheila Fagg of Tampa, FL and her family.
Although she will be missed immensely by her family, we all know she has been welcomed at Heaven’s Gate by her loved ones who have passed on before her. Her family was her pride and joy, and she will be missed dearly by all.
