He was born in New York, NY on May 27, 1930 to Jack and Edna Gordon.
Roy studied at The Julliard School of Music before enlisting in the Navy. He was an accomplished bassoon player and played in various symphonies and orchestras during his career.
Roy had a successful career in retail management and sales for Sears. After retirement, he worked for The Walt Disney Company for ten years.
He was active in the Kings Ridge Homeowners Association and held many roles over the years from serving as a Board Member, publishing neighborhood newsletters, acting as a website host and serving on various committees.
Roy’s passion was classical music, spending times with friends and family and playing games.
He is survived by his wife Roberta, son Glenn, daughter Cyndy, Step-daughter Jacalyn, step-sons Robert and Patrick, grandchildren Zachary, Stacey, Renee, Sarah, Paul and Robin and several great-grandchildren.
