Ray was born on April 30th,1930 in Brooklyn, New York.
He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Halpin, Sr. and mother, Helen Halpin, brother Greg and his wife of over fifty years, Blanche Halpin.
Ray served in the United State Army, AMEDS 1st Division in Korea 1951 to 1953, with a medical unit during the Korean War. Raymond was an Officer for Chemical Bank in New York City; and, while in Kissimmee, he worked for the Houston Astro and Cobra organizations for over 20 years at the Osceola County Stadium. His passion for baseball was only eclipsed by his love of his family.
He is survived by his son Stephen Halpin (Diane) of Orlando, daughter Liz Evans (Todd) of Kissimmee, sister Joan Jordan of New York and sister-in-law Margaret Bender of Kissimmee. Five Grandchildren, Kari Negron (Jose), Mallory Hendry (Chris), Ashley Graziano (Kevin), Michael Halpin and Nicholas Evans.
Raymond also had two great grandchildren, Donavan Negron and Ethan Hendry.
Raymond Halpin was member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kissimmee.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday March 5th at 2:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church & School 3016 West Vine Street Kissimmee, Florida 34741
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church & School.
