Sympathy to Gerry, Scott, Bob, and Families
This was very sad news when I heard of Jill’s passing. I have great memories of Cousin Jill. Jill was a beautiful lady, such a warm and loving person. I have some great memories that were formed with the Marshals when we were children and then more again in later yeas when Gerald and Jill would be out and about with groups of friends. The Steele family all loved Jill dearly and will miss her.  


I was always proud to be a cousin of the beautiful Marshall twins. The many references to Jill’s kindness certainly ring true for me. I also remember her sense of humour, inevitable in any child of Aunt Lena. Kim and I send our condolences. David Steele

I was sorry to hear of Jill’s passing. My memories are from many years ago. One of my favourites is one time I was about 8 years old and was staying in the cottage at the lake for a weekend with Aunt Lena, Jacie and Jill. I woke up in the night and saw Aunt Lena with a broom over her shoulder saying”Come on out where I can see you”. Jacie and Jill were totally covered up with a big beach towel. Apparently a bat had got into the cottage!! I’m not sure,  but I think Aunt Lena won the battle.

To Gerry, Bob  and Scott and extended family. Please accept our deepest condolences for the passing of Jill. Didn't know her well but if she was like her sister Jacie  she was a wonderful person.  From Donna and Eldon Olson.

Dear Gerry, Scott, Bob and Family,
Don and I were saddened to learn that Jill had passed away.  We know she has had a struggle with her health over the last several years.  May she now have rest.  
When my parents purchased our cottage at Kenosee, the Marshalls were our neighbours.  In those early years, both Jill and Jacie were often called upon to come over to babysit us kids.  In later years,  with Gerry & Jill,  there were many neighbourhood parties and many many good laughs.  I'll always remember Jill as a gentle, kind and wise soul.  May you have comfort in knowing she is now in heaven with many good people around her.

Uncle Gerald, Bob, Scott and family, I was so sad to hear the news of aunt Jills passing. I have such great memories of spending time with you all out at the lake and in Kipling at Christmas. I remember playing scrabble with your mom and Jacie many times on the little cottage kitchen table and many a campfire out at the Greyt place cottage. Jill was so warm, lovely, sweet and always welcoming. She will surely be missed.
I was so happy to see her this past summer at Dave’s  Memorial, a sad occasion but it was so great that she was able to attend. It meant so much to Krista and I. It was so good to see her again!

I only had the pleasure of meeting your parents when we were neighbours so, so many years ago, so although I did not know her as well as others had the privledge too, I can tell beyond a doubt that she must was an incredibly supportive and wonderful Mother to have raised such an outstanding son and gentleman as you Scott. That "chip off the old block" as they say, obviously resonates through the ages and is as accurate as one can imagine. You're so blessed to have had such a loving and wonderful Mom (and Dad) to raise you and inflict their ideals and ethics into your upbringing and that has obviously made you the gentleman, friend to me, Father to Shae, spouse to Michelle, and provider for your family. I know this feeling and sentiment is true to all who know you. 

Jackie and I are so sorry for your families loss, but trust in knowing that she is in a better place now and will always be in your heart and minds. Cherish the fun and happy memories and celebrate her life.
