On Thursday, August 9th, 2018, Jerome G. Hengen, from Windthorst, SK, and most recent Montmartre, SK., beloved husband to the late Helen M. Hengen and devoted father and grandfather passed away at the age of 86 years.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Pius Roman Catholic Church, Windthorst, SK., on Friday, August 17th, 2018, at 11:00 am by Rev. Ed Hengen, Rev. Francis Hengen and Rev. Gerald Joy Montiague. Interment in the parish cemetery. Prayers at the St. Pius Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, August 16th, at 7:00 p.m.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Helen Hengen, granddaughter Sarah Gwelen McDougall, parents Matt and Alma Hengen, sister, brothers, sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Veronica (Roy) Steele, Joe (Mary) Hengen, Matt Hengen Jr. and Herb Tholl, father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Mary Jurzyniec, sister--in-law and brothers-in-law: Rose (Joe) Fehr and Joe Jurzyniec.
Jerome is survived by his six children and nine grandchildren: Chris (Theresa Kiff) Hengen of Saskatoon, SK., and his children, Ashley and Connor; Ambrose (Sheryl) Hengen of Estevan, SK., and their children Riley (Samantha), Michael, Jason and Tyler; Debra (Dwight Blomander) Hengen, of Regina, SK.; Karolyn {Karey} (Daryl) Lessak, of Regina, SK.; Liz (Dan) McDougall of Lumsden, SK. and their son Dan Geordie; Joey (Dave) Bouma of Edmonton, AB., and their children Halle and Cassi; Jerome is also survived by his brothers, sister and sisters-in-law: Bill (Lorraine) Hengen of Stoughton, SK., Bernadette Tholl, of Windthorst, SK., Rev. Ed Hengen of Carlyle, SK., Rev. Francis Hengen of Indian Head, SK., and Yvonne Hengen, of Windthorst, SK.; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Stella Raczynski of Regina, SK., Al Jurzyniec of Regina, SK., Marion (Miles) Lozinsky of Regina, SK., and Frances (Ken) Weaving of Calgary, AB.; along with his nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
