Savannah Lee Currin, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend passed away unexpectedly from this life to eternal life on May 29, 2021 at her home in Porter, Texas.
Savannah was born on August 22, 1990 in Spring, Texas to Angela Foster Flory and Morgan Lee Hurtt. She was a 2008 graduate of Northeast Christian Academy in Kingwood, Texas. Savannah married Brenden Currin on October 24, 2015. They have two beautiful children Evelynn and Cade. She worked for New Caney ISD as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Kings Manor Elementary in Kingwood, Texas. She was also attending The University of Houston to finish her Bachelor’s degree in Education with a certification for Special Ed.
Savannah lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. She was very involved and always there with any sports and school activity that Evelynn and Cade were in. She was very involved in the community and always there to give a helping hand. Even during Hurricane Harvey, she could not sit still and just watch on the sidelines. She gathered her close friends and a boat to help rescue people from floodwaters in Kingwood, TX. She was always collecting clothes to take to the Mission or to families in need. She loved going mudding, fishing and boating with Brenden, Evie, Cade, her sister Autumn and friends. She loved shopping with her Mom and Sister and being crafty around the house. Savannah loved her family and friends. She was a diverse force with an amazing sense of humor that will be deeply missed in all of our lives.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Brenda Colligan and Lester Hurtt. She is survived by her parents and stepparents, Angela & Louis Flory, Lee & Casey Hurtt. Her husband, Brenden Currin and their children, Evelynn and Cade Currin; By her grandparents, David & Glenda Foster, Thomas Reddoch and Mryna Hurtt; her sister and brothers, Autumn Loudermilk, Collin, Ty and Torin Hurtt; her step-siblings Louis Flory III, Susan Stevens, Barbara Curtis and Chris Flory; Uncles & Aunts, Randal & Amanda Foster, Corbett & Angela Reddoch, Marcus & Michelle Reddoch, Donna Spinney, Barry & Arlene Colligan; along with many close cousins and friends.

Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation for Savannah at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 US-59 North, Kingwood, TX. 77339 on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Followed by a Celebration Of Life Service at Second Baptist Church North Campus, 22770 US-59 North, Kingwood, TX. 77339 at 11:00 a.m.
