Funeral Services for Ronald Heath Robertson, 81, of Kingwood, Texas, will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Kingwood Funeral Home in Kingwood, Texas with Reverend William T. Richter, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 am to 11:00 am on March 4 at the Kingwood Funeral Home. The address for Kingwood Funeral Home is 22800 Highway 59 North.
Mr. Robertson was born on March, 14, 1941, in Amarillo, Texas to parents, Chester (Chet) Myron Robertson and Eleanor (Ellie) Maurine Cracraft Robertson. He passed away on February, 22, 2023 in Kingwood, Texas.
Mr. Robertson had a lengthy career in commercial real estate. He worked for Cushman & Wakefield, and his last employment was with S.E. Covington & Co. in Houston, Texas where he was a Senior Vice President. He also was on the Houston Board of Realtors and the Association of Water Board Directors. Mr. Robertson served in the United States Army and the United States Army Reserve where he retired as a Colonel. Colonel Robertson was a Tank Company Commander and served in the 75th U.S. Army Maneuver Area Command (MAC). During his career in the Army, Colonel Robertson graduated from the United States Army Armor School, the United States Army Command and General Staff College, and the United States Army War College (Class of 1986). Colonel Robertson received The Army Commendation Medal and The Meritorious Service Medal.
Mr. Robertson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from Texas Christian University, where he also played on the golf team and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and especially loved playing golf. Mr. Robertson was a long-standing member of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Kingwood, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Donna Gail Machemehl Robertson; daughter, Robin Robertson Walton and son in law, Jeffery Charles Walton; son, Christopher Heath Robertson and daughter in law, Mari Avalos Robertson; and his grandchildren, Jake Carter Walton, William Parker Walton, Zackary Heath Walton and Ethan Ryan Robertson.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Chester Robertson and Eleanor Cracraft Robertson and his two sisters, Janet Robertson Kardell and Gracia Robertson.
Mr. Robertson’s final resting place is at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville, Texas.
