Jake Silva

Jacob Paul Silva was born on July 10, 1999. He was known best by “Just Jake”. Jake was an extraordinary young man, full of life and love. His contagious smile and outgoing personality brought much joy to everyone who knew him. His affinity for theatre and the stage became apparent at a very young age. He had many, many opportunities to share his talent throughout his life.

Most recently he was a student at Kingwood High School where he auditioned and earned a place in the Junior Varsity Theatre Class under Mr. Frank Chuter. In his short time at Kingwood High School, Jake was beginning to define his skills and talent where he was allowed to express himself as the faith-filled, unique, talented and amazing young man God designed him to be. Jake left us on January 29, 2015 after being hospitalized with bacterial meningitis.

His legacy of life and faith continues as he gave the greatest gift in death as an organ donor. Three very blessed people will live on carrying a part of Jake with them. Likely an even greater impact will be made through his faith and his testimony to the faithfulness of Christ in his life
