CT Goad, 80, of Kingwood, Texas, died on June 21, 2015, at the Silverado Memory Care Community in Kingwood, Texas, with his wife, Virginia at his side. He was born June 25, 1934, in Trenton, Texas, son of the late Cecil Taft and Ina Mae Goad. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia (Moos) Goad; son, Phillip Taft Goad and wife Starla of Little Rock, Arkansas; daughter Elesa Mae Mason and husband, David, of Kingwood, Texas; son Darren Kent Goad of London, England; seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. He graduated from Albuquerque High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He and his family moved to Denver, Colorado in 1957 where he eventually became an insurance agent with State Farm Insurance, retiring after 35 years of service. He was a member, elder, treasurer, song leader and teacher at the Lakewood Church of Christ in Lakewood, Colorado, where he dearly loved teaching the bible and singing. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and spending time in the Colorado Rockies with family and friends. He left a legacy of love, laughter and joy and will be dearly missed. His Memorial Service is Saturday, June 27 at 2:00 pm at the Lakewood Church of Christ.
