Winston R. Kelly

Winston R. Kelly, age 73, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in Kingsville. He was born October 11, 1939 in Victoria, Texas to John C. Kelly and Beulah St. Clair Kelly. Mr. Kelly was a former Kleberg County Sheriff and retired from the Wood County Texas Sheriff’s Department in 2004. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Winston is survived by his wife of 50 years, Glenda T. Kelly of Kingsville; one daughter, Kathrine Kelly Mann (Steve) of Corsicana, Texas; one son, Winston R. Kelly Jr. (Jennifer) of Tahoka, Texas; three grandchildren, Jeffery (Erin), Andrew and Kendell Quillin; and two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Cooper Quillin.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Chamberlain Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Funeral Detail.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

At the conclusion of the graveside service, a reception will take place at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 312 West King, Kingsville.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
