Tina Killebrew, age 52 of Jonesborough, entered into the glories of Heaven during the late morning hours of Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Tina was born on January 2, 1966 in Bristol, TN to Bill and Louise Jones. On January 5, 1984, Tina married her best friend and love of her life, Gary Killebrew, and after 34 years of a beautiful life together and raising a family together, the love they shared will continue to live on in Gary’s heart.
Tina always had a can-do attitude and to take care of her family was a high priority in her life. At age 30, and with two children, Tina went back to school and received her Master’s Degree in Nursing. Tina worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner. For the last several years she worked for United Healthcare caring for the geriatric community. Tina had a servant’s heart and her life was a true testimony of how a Christian should live their lives. Tina was a devout Christian and she was a member of Covenant Fellowship in Blountville. Tina enjoyed many things in life from traveling, reading, and watching her nieces and nephews play sporting events; but most of all, she looked forward to her daily talks and face-timing with her grandson, Andrew.
Tina is survived by her mother and stepfather, Louise and Jack Wright; father and stepmother, Bill and Sheila Jones; her devoted husband, Gary Killebrew; son, Rusty Killebrew and wife Brittany; daughter, Courtney Davenport and husband, Army Chaplain Ryan; grandchildren, Andrew Davenport, and Elsie Mae Killebrew; brothers, Wayne Jones and wife Shannon and their daughters Hannah and Rachel, and Mike Jones and wife Alice and their three boys Griffen, Graham, and Garrison; and special friends, Wendy, Jonna, Connie, Debbie, and Sheila.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm following the visitation with Pastors Jackie Bradley and Ernest Steffey officiating. Interment services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at East Tennessee Cemetery, located at 2630 Highway 75, Blountville, TN 37617. Serving as pallbearers will be Shad Graham, Chris Whitehead, Ken Talbert, Johnny Wayne Jones, Shane Mullins, and Brad Ragland. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Griffen, Graham and Garrison Jones.
