Timothy Meeks

Timothy Lee Meeks age 53, of Kingsport passed away Monday August 15, 2011 in Holston Valley Medical Center. Mr. Meeks was born in Staunton Virginia and a resident of Kingsport since 1966. He was a member of Cassidy United Methodist Church and a graduate of Sullivan Central High School in 1977 He was an avid hunter, he never meet a stranger and loved to help people. Mr. Meeks enjoyed life and was an artist

He is preceded in death by his parents Pauline and John William Meeks

Survivors include one sister Rose Meeks Jones and husband Christopher Salisbury, NC; Two brothers James Sherman Meeks Kingsport, TN ; Kenneth Edward Meeks and wife Young Glendale, Arizona; one niece April Young Meeks and one nephew William Lester Meeks

Memorial services will be conducted 6:00 PM. Saturday August 20,2011 at Cassidy United Methodist Church with Pastor Chuck Griffin officiating the family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church. Memorials may be given to Cassidy United Methodist Church youth program in memory of Pauline and Tim Meeks 5801 Memorial Blvd. Kingsport, TN. 37664
