Stuart Elzie Mullins, 91, entered into rest April 17, 2011 at Jamestown Assisted Living, Kingston, Tn. He was born May 12, 1919 to George Lee Mullins and Rachel Rasnick Mullins, and was resident of Kingsport, Tn. most of his life. Stuart was retired from the Kingsport Press, Arcadia Graphics, after forty five years of service. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 688 F&AM, was a Shriner, a member of Glenwood Baptist Church where he was active as a member of the Brotherhood, served as Sunday School Director, and was a Sunday School Teacher, worked with Boy Scout for many years, was a volunteer ombudsman at Wexford House. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and most importantly he was a child of God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva McCracken Mullins. Survivors include daughter and son in law, Ada Sue “Susie” Dutton and Jim of Kingston, TN, grandsons, Jeff Dutton, Adam Dutton and his wife, Anna, two great grandchildren, Brady and Olivia Dutton, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at East Lawn Funeral Home, with funeral services being held at 3:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park with military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Glenwood Baptist Church,2601 E. Center Street, Kingsport, TN. or the charity of your choice. Arrangements under the direction of East Lawn Funeral Home, Kingsport, TN.
