Born to the late Lawrence Cross, Sr. and Helen Hicks Cross on July 2, 1941 in Bristol, VA.
Larry is survived by his endless love, Judy Meade Cross. She was his wonderful, loving wife of 58 years. He was a proud and loving father of two sons and daughters-in-law, Darin and Carlene Gibson Cross and Daryl and Amy Smith Cross; and five grandchildren, Kayla, Katelynn, Amber, Darwin, and Tabatha.
With the Grace and gift of God, Larry with faith, not his own, accepted Christ Jesus. He did his best, but not very well, according to Larry, to use the talents God gave him to glorify His Son.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8:00pm with Pastor George Jessee officiating.
Larry will be laid to rest on Sunday, February 16, at 2:00pm at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Faith. Military Rites will be conveyed by the Bristol VFW Post 6975.
